Personal information
Isa studied medicine at Maastricht University and graduated March 2003. After an orientational clinical period in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department both in Limburg and Amsterdam, she decided to become a General Practitioner in Maastricht and started her residency in 2005. Since march 2008, Isa is both a practicing General Practitioner and a PhD researcher at the section Community Genetics under the supervision of professor Martina Cornel and professor Geert Jan Dinant (Department of Family Medicine in Maastricht) . Her project, funded by CSG/CMSB, aims to reflect on current genomics developments with primary care workers, and to help them identify their learning priorities.
