Personal information

Lidewij Renaud (11 March 1986) was born in The Hague. After finishing high school at the Vrije School The Hague she studied Human Movement Sciences at the VU university in Amsterdam. As part of her master she did her research internship at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, MA.

After graduation (2011) she worked at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Academic Medical Center (AMC) as an internal health and safety advisor. In 2015 she worked at an occupational Health and Safety service as an ergonomic advisor. In 2016 she started her PhD at the EMGO institute. During this PhD project on reducing sedentary behaviour in office workers the ultimate goal is to develop an intervention for correct use of height adjustable desks.
