Dalya  Samur


Dalya Samur is currently a Phd Student in Amsterdam Emotion Regulation lab (www.emotionregulationlab.com) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

She was awarded Research Talent Grant from Dutch organization of Scientific Research (NWO) for research project on psychological effects of reading on alexithymia. Her research focus is on the natural use of language and how it interacts with our mind and body. Within this scope, she is interested in various themes and disciplines, varying from alexithymia, neurobiology of language, literature, conceptual metaphors, embodiment and gestures.
