GP training programmes on MUPS

Health care innovation
MUPS diagnostic and advice clinic VUmc. Pilot with a new care concept in which GPs can refer patients with MUPS for a short diagnostic trajectory. In a first 45-minute consultation Somatic, Cognitive, Emotional, Behavioural ansd Socuial aspects of the symptoms are explored; if necessary VUmc specialists can be consulted; in a second 30-minute consultation findings and advice for further treatment are discussed and afterwards an advice letter isc sent to patient and GP. 
This clinic is currently being piloted and only accessible for patients of GPs belonging to the Stichting Amsterdamse Gezondheidscentra.
