Personal information

Minne Bakker  (1986) is researcher at the Department of Medical Humanities, VU Medical Centre in Amsterdam. She has a master's degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. 

In her research, Minne is interested in the participation of people with disabilities. Her current study is about work participation of people with disabilities. This is a cross-disability study, as it does not focus on one specific disability. In former studies, she worked with people with neuromuscular diseases and with people with mental disabilities. The patient perspective is very important in all her studies.

Besides researcher, Minne is a teacher in Medical Sociology, qualitative research methods and medical ethics.
