Derek de Beurs (1980) graduated with honors in clinical psychoplogy. Currently he is a Phd candidate at the VU Amsterdam/EMGO institute. He investigates the (cost)effectiviness of a train the trainer intervention to implement the new national suicide prevention guideline. He recieved a grant of GGZ-NL to develop a e-learning module for nurses on the toppic of dealing with suicidal patients.
At the EMGO, Derek started the postgraduate epidemiology training.
