Personal information
Charlotte Vrinten studied medicine (MSc), psychology (BSc) and philosophy (BA) at Utrecht University. Her theses were about diabetes treatment and quality of life in the Dutch elderly population and the role of moral responsibility for disease in the treatment of overweight and obese diabetes patients.
She now works as a junior researcher at EMGO Institute for Health and Care Research, where she is involved in a project which aims to develop an n=1 trial service for off-label medicines for rare neuromuscular disorders. Her professional interests include medical ethics, healthcare policy making and efficacy of medical treatment.
