Personal information
Suzanne Merkus graduated from the Faculty of Human Movement Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam in 2007. Her master's research was done in Malawi, Africa on the quality of life of mobility aid users at the MAP project.
She started her PhD project in 2009. She is affiliated to the EMGO institute, as well as to the International Research Institute of Stavanger (IRIS) where her PhD project is primarily based.
