Objectives
Starting date: 01/01/2008
The main objective of this study was to explore the role of family history information in type 2 diabetes prevention as a model for future genetic susceptibility testing, including
(1) the impact of communicating familial risk of type 2 diabetes on risk awareness and behaviour change using a web-based tool,
(2) the possible large scale positive and negative outcomes of integrating such a family history tool into public health.
