Heleen Riper interviewed about blended-care treatment of depression

In the Tracer of October 31, Heleen Riper (associated professor at the VU Department of Clinical Psychology and GGZinGeest, and professor of eMental-Health at the Leuphana University, Luneburg, Germany) was interviewed about blended-care in the treatment of depression.

Recently VUmc, VU and GGZ ingGeest have received funding for two large scale studies into blended-care treatment for patients suffering from depression. (See our previous newsitems here and here). Blended-care combines online and face-to-face care to improve outcomes of the treatment of depression. Riper considers the upcoming studies as groundbreaking in a whole new area of research.
